Soho Arts Community Grants

Soho Arts is a community owned not for profit organisation. We are home to arts, culture and community organisations, fostering opportunities for collaboration and networking across our creative communities.

This grant program aims to support community led arts and cultural projects that support community activity and participation in South Hobart.

Competitive applications will likely include activities and events with a high volunteer component with the grant covering hard costs like license fees for a film weekend, equipment hire for a music event, workshop materials etc. Artist fees are eligible but should be proportional to the size of the activity.

We encourage applications from enthusiastic individuals and groups. No prior experience is required, simply demonstrate that you can deliver your project. We’re here to help and can support you through the application process to ensure you’ve considered everything.

DUE DATE

Applications will be accepted throughout the year. Applications will be assessed, approved and funded until the designated funding amount has been exhausted. That means you might have a great idea but if we have spent all the money allocated to this program you will have to wait until a new financial year rolls over.
