Catherine Pettman is the founder of Sheoak Films, based in Lutruwita/Tasmania, Australia. An award-winning producer with over two decades of experience, she is renowned for her dynamic and innovative storytelling across film & television, web series, animation, theatre, and opera.
Catherine has managed acclaimed projects, including the AACTA-winning short-form drama The Tailings (2021) and produced the SBS/NITV digital original series Moonbird, now showing on SBS on Demand.
Passionate about pushing creative boundaries, she plays a pivotal role in Tasmania’s screen industry, leveraging her expertise and deep knowledge of the region’s stunning locations and talent to support both local and inbound productions.
The Unconformity
The Unconformity is a biennial contemporary art festival, an arts festival inspired by a rare geological unconformity and the remarkable cultural paradoxes of Queenstown, a small mining community in Tasmania's wild West Coast.
Working with a range of community, corporate, artistic and Government partners, They develop and deliver a range of arts-led cultural development, tourism and education projects that, in partnership with our community, seek to reimagine the future of the region.

Trail Ventures Pty Ltd is 100% Tasmanian, a for-purpose business effectively operating as a social enterprise. We created, own and operate (aka the current custodians) www.kunanyimountain.run (5th year in 2026) and www.kunanyitrailseries.com.au for the past 4yrs
We’re at a pivotal moment of growth expanding with a new epic destination event funded for the West Coast - event date April 2026 - and have heaps more events across Tasmania ready to roll out when the time is right. We’re also a trail maintenance contractor and started contracting to PWS in 2020. We’ve also been asked to do some consulting.

Her work focuses on all aspects of love, sex, sexuality, empowerment, vitality, creativity, personal & interpersonal relationships, and physical, mental & emotional health and wellbeing.
SOUTH HOBART YOGA & MEDITATION
SHYAM is a community-focussed yoga studio providing a range of classes, workshops, events and activities based around the culture of yoga. The culture of yoga encourages a creative, conscious approach to life which is based on a foundation of physical and mental wellbeing. SHYAM is about authentic, holistic yoga – for the body, mind, emotions, psyche and spirit.
People of all ages and levels of fitness or flexibility are welcome at SHYAM. Most teachers are from the Satyananda Yoga tradition, offering a blend of postures, breathing techniques, relaxation and meditation, from beginners to experienced.
